Large format printing
Large format printing is a specialized field. At KPD Signs, our knowledgeable staffs can guide you through every steps of the way. From design, layout, printing and assembly, we have the skill and the capacity to turn your job around efficiently and affordably, and give your job the personal attention to be sure it’s done right.
Our state of the art facility includes a complete prepress shop, wide format printer up to 54″ width, capable of achieving outstanding resolution and colour on a variety of material, such as banner, vinyl decal, canvas, reflective sheeting, window frosting and back-lit material. A complete finishing shop for laminating and mounting the final print on coroplast, MDO, styrene, sintra, foam core, gatorboard, acrylic sign faces, wood or metal panels. We carry a full line of cast and calendared adhesive vinyl, banner material and specialty films from 3M, Mactac, and Avery for indoor, vehicle and fleet graphics and outdoor application.
There are many different applications for our large format digital printing and die cutting service:
Decals
From small numbered inventory tags, hard hat decals, company logo decals for vehicles or product safety warning labels. If you can envision it we can print it.
Vehicle Wraps & Fleet Graphics
Turn your everyday ride or delivery vehicles into your mobile billboard helping you expand your brand awareness, reach, frequency and impact of your advertising campaign so that you can grow your business, no matter how big or small. We can also print on reflective vinyl to increase your customer awareness up to 40% in non daylight times and increase safety by marking your vehicle visible in the dark. All install by our certified installer.
File preparation for Large Format Digital Printing:
- Adobe Illustrator (.ai or .eps) files preferred, we also accept tiffs, hi-res jpegs, Photoshop (.psd) or pdf. We do not accept Corel Draw files, please export .cdr files to .pdf or .eps. Please include all linked files.
- All raster/bitmap files (tiff, jpeg, psd) must be 100 dpi resolutions @ final size to ensure print quality, CMYK only. That includes all linked bitmap files as well.
- PMS colors must be specified.
- All black colors must be in CMYK values.
- All text must be converted to outlines.
Installation
No matter what business you’re in, you can probably find use for vinyl decals that suits your needs. Decals come in a variety of shape and sizes; they are also made with different materials for various applications. Applying the decal to your desire substrate isn’t difficult, but it does take some time and skill to do it right.
Ensure the success of your installations by using KPD Signs. Our 3M Certified Installers have passed rigorous testing, verifying their ability to handle different types of vinyl installations including window, drywall, vehicle decal and wraps. We’ll make sure it’s done right the first time.

KPD Signs fabricating crews use the highest available technology to create the longest lasting signs that your company needs. We’ve got the tools and equipment to produce iron and aluminum framing, wood and sheet metal traffic control signs, Illuminated sign boxes and road side billboards.

Assembly
In our assembly area, our skilled workers put all the fabricated components together, including the lighting, and make sure everything is perfect for the final installation of the sign.
Our assemblers are also well trained electrically. They make sure that all wiring and connectors are well protected, safe, and easy to maintain. We build each sign to withstand weather conditions or vandalism, which makes for years of trouble-free performance.
